Congressman G.K. Butterfield recently toured the Grady-White Boats facility in Greenville, North Carolina. Factory visits are critically important opportunities for highlighting the recreational boating industry, and NMMA encourages all members to work with them on scheduling tours with their respective elected officials.

During the visit, Congressman Butterfield met with Grady-White President Kris Carroll, toured the plant's facilities, engaged with employees, and witnessed the manufacturing process first-hand. “We were delighted to have the opportunity to take Congressman Butterfield, and his team, around our facility. He experienced our passion for providing a product that creates lifelong memories for our valued customers,” said Carroll.

A Wilson, North Carolina native, Butterfield discussed a range of issues including trade, workforce development, and logistics surrounding the boat manufacturing process. “The passion and enthusiasm that Kris brings to this industry is absolutely wonderful,” said Congressman Butterfield. “You can truly see the joy on every employee's face, that they’re very happy to be working here.”
