The Joy of Joining a Grady Club

The Cape Lookout Grady-White Club traveled from their home port of Beaufort/Morehead City, NC, to New Bern, NC, with 17 people and five boats ranging from 21 to 27 feet. There they enjoyed “docktails,” cruising the Trent River, and walking the streets of historic New Bern, the birthplace of Pepsi! This proved to be a great learning experience for four of the boat captains who had never taken this trip before. Following the pilot boat gave them the opportunity to get familiar with the route before making the trip alone.
