If you trailer your boat, finding non-ethanol fuel at the pump is becoming more difficult. When you’re unable to fill your boat with non-ethanol fuel, you’ll need to know the different fuel options that do contain ethanol and which to avoid. E-15 can be catastrophic to your engine, do not use it! E-10 can be used if you must, but Yamaha has a few recommendations that will help protect your engine from the corrosive effects of ethanol.
