Grady Owners Find Their Happy Place Aboard Their Boats

Owen Roberge and his fishing buddies recently had a great trip offshore of Block Island, CT, on his family’s Grady-White Freedom 285. Owen said his dad, Pete, is a diehard Grady fan. It’s terrific to see he’s passed his Grady-love on to his son and these young men!

This 211-pound bluefin tuna was no match for Frankie Baratta, even though they appear to be just about the same size! Frankie boats out of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, NY, on Second Nature, his Marlin 300.

Cole Devitt and crew mostly boat out of his home port of Ocean Ridge, FL, on his Canyon 326, Vamos. This summer they enjoyed fishing for dolphin, diving for lobster, and taking the boat over to Bimini for a few trips.

These Grady owners hopped aboard Chris Miller’s Express 330, Reel Escape, and headed 60 miles out of Ocean City, MD, near Washington Canyon, to go 9 for 10 on yellowfin tuna. Fishing with Chris were Rusty and Rhonda Daub and David Stevens, who also own Grady-White Express 330s. Rhonda caught the largest tuna that day while also celebrating her wedding anniversary. Congratulations!

Mike Epstein and crew enjoy fishing on this Marlin 300 in Long Island Sound and the blue water off Montauk, NY. They hope they’ll soon get to experience their first canyon trip!

Jim Surmick, his son, Brett, and Mike Niemoczynski caught this swordfish weighing more than 250 pounds 90 miles off Barnaget Inlet, NJ, on Jim’s Release 283.
