Great Grilled Fish

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 12 minutes

Ingredients

8 (3 or 4 ounce) fresh fish steaks (tuna/mahi/salmon or striper all work well), 1 inch thick

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup sherry

1/4 cup good quality vegetable oil

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation

Place fish steaks in a shallow baking dish. In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, sherry, vegetable oil, fresh lime juice, and garlic. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tuna steaks, and turn to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill grate. Place steaks on grill, and discard remaining marinade. Grill for 3 to 6 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
