Timothy Dolan is a happy owner of an 330 Express, bought from his local dealer Quality Boats. Every summer there is an annual event in Clearwater where local boat owners rally to take handicapped children to the beach for a day. Timothy’s Grady “BigTime” recently took two families.
This past June, 8 boats participated in the GW Jersey Shore Club’s annual family fishing tournament. The weather cooperated well for fishing that day and for their afternoon barbecue. 22 people attended. For winning flounders, the club awarded each winner with a cash prize. Club members Mike & Stu donated their prize winnings back.
Here are some pictures from Jacobsen’s Marine’s outing on July 3rd in Poulsbo WA. They take a crew of GW owners out every year and do a BBQ on the boat and watch fireworks. They had 4 boats, 258, 330, 360, and a 300. Great time and the kids love it! Photos by Tor Trygstad
Ryan Mace, 16, of Brigantine, New Jersey has been living the Grady Life on the Jersey Shore. Ryan, left, and Steven Hogan, right, enjoy boating on the "Jenny Lynne". He knows this 1990 25' Dolphin boat inside and out, like the back of his hand. His childhood summers were based on fishing and fishing some more and he believes Grady-White makes the best boats ever! "They take a beating out on open water like no other boat!"
John Mann of Duxbury, MA is enjoying his Classic Grady Lady, a 1979 Grady-White Dolphin, "As We Like It II."
Living in a Grady World - Larry Bucklin of University Place, WA is a proud Grady owner and tends to notice other Gradys when traveling, including Lahaina, Maui and Sitka, Alaska. He was pleasantly surprised in early April 2006 to be on a short stop on the Greek Island of Mykonos where he took this picture.
Beautiful boats in beautiful places - Scott & Michele Yetman of Newcastle, WA shared this picture of two Grady's moored across from their boat in Elliot Bay with Mt. Rainier in the background.
Memorable Boat Ride! - Britni McKenzie Matyasi and Frank Matyasi were married on June 3, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in Sarasota, FL and made their grand entrance at the reception by arriving via boat. Roy and Gail McKenzie's 2005 Bimini 306 "Buggs" was their transportation to the reception. Britni and Frank have been boaters all their lives, and thought their entrance on the bride's parents Bimini was ever so fitting.
Mike and Diane Charnosky of Annapolis, MD shared this picture of "Bluefin," a 2003 Marlin 300. Dianne is watching over her in the middle of town, called "ego alley" in December 2005.
Walter Wagner has been boating on the West coast of Florida for over 30 years and holds a 100 ton Masters License. Two years ago, he purchased an Express 265 and developed an instant love affair while driving it home from Sarasota. They named her Gulf Lady and she is now the Queen of Flotilla 75, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Ruskin, FL. She works with the Coast Guard and Homeland Security in supplementing patrols of Port Tampa, and recreational boating safety in Tampa Bay. This photo was taken at a Blessing of The Fleet Ceremony including Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary Boats at the Coast Guard Station, St. Petersburg, FL over Memorial Day weekend.
Jose Martinez shared this photo of the "Salitre" a Sailfish 272 (left) and "Olympia" a Marlin 300 (center) from their annual trip to Mona Island. The photo is the sunset at Mona Island, a natural reserve at the west coast of Puerto Rico, between The Dominican republic and Puerto Rico. Only Gradys are able to pass with security and confidence because the Mona Passage is well known to be a rough sea in any moment. Sammy Ramirez is the owner of Salitre and Jose Martinez of Olympia and they are proud owners of Grady-White quality boats.
