Have a seat, the boat's full Michael Hiatt and Garret Connell struggling to walk around. They and two friends caught 25 albacore in about 2 1/2 hours on Michael's 232 Gulfstream.
Try and find us - Mike Hiatt and some friends headed out tuna fishing on his new 232 Gulfstream. A good day out, they filled every hold on the boat!
Just enough for dinner - Ed Bukala pulled in the perfect-sized walleye for the frying pan. Ed & Deborah had a nice day fishing their Freedom 255, "Bukster", in a local fishing derby. Not the winner, but enough for dinner!
Caught Allie's Attention - Deborah Bukala holding her 9 lb. walleye. At her feet is Allie, their 8-year-old Westie looking up at the biggest catch of the day! Deborah fished their Freedom 255, "Bukster", in the Erieau Marina fishing derby.
Your ROW winner - Rosie Garam's fish won! Jay Bernstein and Ron Schaefer share her success and bragging rights until next year's "Rock on Warriors" tournament.
Family 4th - John Charos and his son, Steve with a nice catch on his Express 370, the "Sea Renity". It wasn't just a father/son day, seven members of the family were off the Bimini Isles as part of their July 4th weekend.
A special catch! - Rosie Garam hoists her striped bass and hopes it's a ROW winner. A special catch on Ron Schaefer's Express 305, because he is a former Guardsmen. A nice 40" striped bass.
Reeling one in - Petty Officer Third Class Rosie Garam, of Coast Guard Station Annapolis, has a fish on the "MELLOWFIVE", Express 305. Her crewmates ready to get it aboard under "Old Glory".
"MELLOWFIVE" planer lines - Ron Schaefer's Express 305, "MELLOWFIVE" put in a lot of lines, because competition was steep. Twenty boats went out, with 58 fisherman plus captains and crew, loaded and eager to catch fish. A great effort by all boats in the 5th annual ROW.
Tourney thankful - Grady-White is thankful for the servicemen and women who give and have given to our country. Also to owners who have helped give back to them with events like ROW. Events like this on the "MELLOWFIVE" is one of many ways to thank these heroes.
