Lake Erie Tournament Champion - Mike Manion, left, presents the 2012 Lake Erie Perch Tournament Champion plaque to Joe Nicholas. Joe's winning catch of five perch measured 57.75 total inches.
Lake Erie Grady-White Club - Members of the Lake Erie Grady-White Club participated in the bicentennial ceremony commemorating the September 10, 1813, naval battle on Lake Erie. Passengers aboard the Navy Fast Patrol Boat USS Hurricane and the USCG tug "Mobile Bay" observed the placing of a battle marker at the site, followed by a wreath laying ceremony during which all visitors were invited to throw carnations in the water.
Grady Club Mingles with the Tall Ships - The Northeast Grady-White Owners Club held a cruise on July 2, 2012 to see the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor. Tall Ships from around the world stayed a week to celebrate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812. A picture perfect day added to the excitement of seeing these fascinating ships up close.
The Northwest Grady Club's Spring Rendezvous - The Northwest Grady White Club held its Spring Rendezvous at Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands on May 18-20, 2012. Roche Harbor and the San Juan's are in Northwest Washington State not far from British Columbia, Canada. Among other events, the club hosted a ling cod derby with the winning fish coming in at 13+ pounds. There was also a delicious clam bake on Saturday evening consisting of fresh shrimp, Dungeness crab, clams, red potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Wet Weather Doesn't Dampen Spirits - Even though wet weather forced the cancellation of their fishing tournament, Lake Erie Grady-White Club members still got together for a delicious steak dinner at the Brass Pelican complete with prizes featuring Grady White logo items, free Grady White hats, and a raffle.
Low Country Grady Club - The Low Country Grady Club had a great time on a weekend boat cruise from Hilton Head to Charleston, SC. Fun!
Crawfish Boil - The Lone Star Grady-White Club threw a crawfish boil in April, complete with a cake almost too good-looking to eat! The club is sponsored by Marine Max/Texas.
Spring Party - The Tidewater Grady-White Club held its 2012 spring party March 18. This was the first potluck for this event, and new club member Ivy Carey provided beautifully Grady decorated cakes—much to the pleasure of the 40 folks in attendance.
Grady Fest Nets Club Members - Steven and Darcy Shaddix and their four children Adam, Samantha, Ashleigh and Maxwell attended Grady Fest and came away as new members of the Tarpon Coast Grady-White Boats Club! The Shaddixes are experienced cruisers, visiting destinations all over the coasts of Florida and the Bahamas plus a 6-week cruise up Alaska's Inside Passage from Vancouver! Tarpon Coast 800+ miles to St Augustine - A group of Tarpon Coast GW Boat Club members had a blast among really good friends when their flotilla of two Marlin 300s and an Express 305 completed a nine-day/830-mile trip from Charlotte Harbor on the west coast of Florida to St. Augustine, crossing Lake Okeechobee and taking the Intracoastal. Tarpon Coast 7th Anniversary Dinner - Just in time for Valentine's Day, Tarpon Coast Grady-White Boat Club members and their sponsor Gary Ingman and club liaison Ernie Fred with Ingman Marine gathered in Punta Gorda, FL, to celebrate their 7th Anniversary with the theme 'Loving the Grady Life!'
Annual Holiday Party - A crew of 50 attended the Chesapeake Bay Grady-White Club's 10th Annual Holiday Party at The Barn on the Magothy River, January 14, 2012. Sponsor Tri-State Marine now includes a membership to the club with the purchase of a Grady-White!
