Glass In (Hulls)
Building and installing the stringers and glassing them into the hulls. Applying resin, catalyst and fiberglass over them. Roll glass out using hand rollers and ensure consistent thickness in laminate without knots using the proper amount of resin. Cut strips of fiberglass and lay over the stringers and spray with resin and catalyst. Check equipment for proper operation.
Mold Repair (Mold Repair)
Restore and repair fiberglass hull molds with precision. Work involves sanding, buffing, and detailed bodywork using power tools. Requires strong attention to detail, upper body strength, and skill in fiberglass repair methods.
Touchup (Small Parts)
Perform sanding, defect repair, buffing, and minor fiberglass work under time pressure. Requires attention to detail and experience with sanding tools. A steady hand and a sharp eye are essential.
Gel Coater (Hulls)
Spray gel-coat evenly over entire mold with correct thickness. This is done by hand with gel-coat spray equipment using a mil gauge to check for correct thickness. Requires concentration, manual dexterity, and attention to detail with high accuracy and quality.
Seeking skilled Painters and Gel Coaters. Competitive pay starting at $22/hour based on experience. 2nd shift.
Glass In (Hulls)
Build stringers by placing patterned cut pieces received from the mill department into the appropriate building fixture. Place stringers on mobile dolly. Visual inspections before laminating. Report defects to lead so they can be corrected. Check resin spray equipment for proper operation. Sand areas that are rough to remove any obstructions when installing stringers.
Boat Builder (Assembly B)
Build boat components such as cabins and cockpits using hand and power tools. Must accurately read measurements, lift 50 lbs, and have excellent attention to detail. Manufacturing and carpentry experience not required but preferred.
Bumper Molding (Assembly A2)
Responsible for installing and sealing key boat components, including drain barriers, bane plates, rub rails, stainless steel hardware, and engine openings. This role ensures proper fit, gap sealing, and overall quality by drilling, assembling, and finishing parts.
Build Up (Hulls)
Apply resin and fiberglass to hull molds by hand using spray guns and rollers. Ensure smooth, consistent lamination with no air voids. Responsibilities include equipment checks, surface prep, and tool maintenance. Attention to detail and fiberglass handling skills required. 2nd shift.
Hardtop Builder (Assembly B)
Mount radio box, install tracks, install wiring through the frame, bolt down hardtop, install outriggers if required. Seal the top of the frame. Add lights, wire radio box. Install doors, nets. Seal all wire holes and ensure functioning lights.
