Build stringers by placing patterned cut pieces received from the mill department into the appropriate building fixture. Place stringers on mobile dolly. Visual inspections before laminating. Report defects to lead so they can be corrected. Check resin spray equipment for proper operation. Sand areas that are rough to remove any obstructions when installing stringers.

Apply resin and fiberglass to hull molds by hand using spray guns and rollers. Ensure smooth, consistent lamination with no air voids. Responsibilities include equipment checks, surface prep, and tool maintenance. Attention to detail and fiberglass handling skills required. 2nd shift.

Spray gel-coat evenly over entire mold with correct thickness. This is done by hand with gel-coat spray equipment using a mil gauge to check for correct thickness. Requires concentration, manual dexterity, and attention to detail with high accuracy and quality.

Restore and repair fiberglass hull molds with precision. Work involves sanding, buffing, and detailed bodywork using power tools. Requires strong attention to detail, upper body strength, and skill in fiberglass repair methods.

Apply chop (mixture of fiberglass and resin) to fiberglass parts. Perform startup procedure for the chopgun. Performs gel time test. Calibrate chopgun according to test result to ensure proper mixture of fiberglass and resin. Use laminate gauge to ensure the proper thickness of chop is applied. Apply chop with chopgun and perform shutdown procedures for chopgun.

Installs hardware on boat as well as drilling holes. Lifting no more than 15lbs. Bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping is also required. Skills include teamwork, installation, housekeeping, assembly work as well as a good work attitude. Use of tape measures, power tools, sanding and air tools are required to perform this job. 

Connect wiring to instrument and accessory panels so that the mechanical components of the boat operate. Organize materials and tools needed for the job. Per Grady-White wiring code, hook up hull wiring harness and deck wiring harness to the accessory and instrument panels. Reinstall accessory and instrument panels as well as any preformed inserts that panels may rest in. Check to ensure all wiring components operate properly and secure and wrapped harnesses to the deck/hull/liner as described in work instructions. Troubleshooting of wired components also required.

Build boat components such as cabins and cockpits using hand and power tools. Must accurately read measurements, lift 50 lbs, and have excellent attention to detail. Manufacturing and carpentry experience not required but preferred. 

Pull parts for specific production departments using prepared lists and stage pulled packages in a designated area. Other inventory related tasks or tasks related to the department's success will also be required. Requires high attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is a plus.
