Tooling Shop Supervisor (Engineering)
We are seeking a motivated professional to supervise the daily operations of our engineering tooling shop and welding shop, overseeing all aspects of plug and mold construction. This role is responsible for scheduling work, assigning tasks to shop associates, ensuring equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Supervisor will also manage personnel-related tasks, including time clock edits and reporting.
Electrical Engineer (Engineering)
Design and development of new, and refinement of existing, electrical systems in premium quality fiberglass coastal boats. Work as an integral part of the product design team to develop highly reliable high and low voltage electrical systems that meet all applicable marine industry standards. Research, source and develop strategies for implementation of new technologies and equipment. Establish relationships with related suppliers and assist in their design process. The job requires providing training and direction to other associates using effective written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of installation, operation, and troubleshooting of marine electronics, Microsoft office, AutoCAD, as well as certifications or training related to this field.
Prototype Technician - Systems (Engineering)
Works with a team of product specialists in the construction, testing and evaluation of new models with a focus on boat mechanical and electrical systems, outboard engine rigging and boat testing. Provides assistance with the development of new designs, product specifications and bill of materials. Works with vendors on the implementation of new parts and accessories. Provides training, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to production personnel as needed.
Prototype Technician - Upholstery and Canvas (Engineering)
Works with a team of product specialists that assist in the construction, testing and evaluation of new models. Supports the Design Team with the prototyping of seating, cushions, and canvas. Provides assistance with the development of new designs, product specifications and bill of materials. Works with vendors on the implementation of new parts and accessories. Reviews and troubleshoots existing products and makes upgrades and improvements as it relates to upholstery and canvas. Provides training, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to production personnel as needed.
Engineering Technician (Engineering)
Assists prototypes in the lamination stage, assures correct materials being used in laminates. Troubleshoots and solves structural issues as they come up in manufacturing. Writes spec sheets for fiberglass parts, tests materials for stiffness, screw retention, and other structural quality.
