First Cobia 2008 - Michael Turnbough from Birmingham, AL, brought in the season's first cobia as reported by the Mobile Press-Register. The Turnbough family has a Tournament 225 purchased from MarineMax of Central Florida/Gulf Shores.
Flounder-rific! - Susan Stewart's Marlin 300 crew had a great Grady day fishing out of Somers Point, NJ: (l - r) great nephew Kiernan Winkler, grandson Noah Reape, husband Donald Reape, Capt. Susan herself, and nephew Tommy Winkler.
Planer Board Stripers - Ron Schaefer and friends call themselves the Over the Hill gang...they never stop picking on each other and they never stop laughing. Catching four stripers with his new planer boards while fishing with the gang was a bonus. Ron has a 2007 Express 305 and fishes in the Chesapeake.
Season's Open! - Jeff Gantnier's second day of fishing for spring 2008 resulted in this 50-inch striper caught in the Potomac River about his and wife Liz's Sailfish 282.

Yellowtail Day - Richard Lauziere and sons Andrew (shown here) and Peter enjoyed a charter trip in St. Thomas, USVI, landing a bunch of yellowtail and a mutton snapper. The Lauzieres are charter members of the Chesapeake Bay Grady-White Club, and own a 2000 Adventure 208.
