What do boat owners, enthusiasts and prospects want from a boat company website? Working with market research partners, Grady-White and its design and technology partners spent a year developing and fine-tuning a new corporate website aimed at satisfying and exceeding those wants and needs.
In keeping with Grady-White’s core belief in “Exceptional attention to detail,” the Grady-White web development team built a site aimed at providing visitors with the most thorough, detailed and up-to-date product information found in the marine industry. Each model product page is replete with galleries of lifestyle and overview photos, an overhead drawing schematic, plus direct performance comparisons for every tested new boat engine package, as well as a detailed list of model specifications and options, right down to the quart capacities of the fish boxes. There are literally thousands of clickable, enlargeable photos of features and options. The product pages also have third-party reviews and videos on each and every individual model. There is an easy-to-use “Build My Grady” area that allows a visitor to specify hull color and optional features for any desired model, and then communicate with the closest Grady dealer to receive pricing and other pertinent information.
“Our visitors demand and appreciate quick and easy access to content,” explains Shelley Tubaugh, Grady’s marketing vice president. “The new site has a clean, elegant look and feel, and is responsive for smartphone and tablet environments.”
The website offers visitors a variety of insights into the world of the Grady-White community via “Grady Life” content, customer service FAQs, and customer tips areas, including information both valuable and entertaining to Grady owners, prospects, and enthusiasts. In-depth information about the Grady-White company and its history is also a big part of the site. The Grady Life Gallery is a popular place to visit and see all the ways owners enjoy time with their friends and family.
The new website was built in a collaborative effort between Adams & Longino Advertising, Avala Marketing, and the Grady-White executive team.
Established in 1959, Grady-White currently builds 27 models of versatile, saltwater-tough center console, dual console, express and walkaround cuddy cabin sportfishing and coastal family boats from 18 to 37 feet.
